Connections:
Plumbing: Fits 2-inch unions with female collars that thread onto the spa's existing male plumbing tailpieces (internal thread diameter of female collars is 78mm).
Electrical: M7 sensors plug directly into Balboa circuit boards. Heater terminals are connected via copper straps from the PCB and secured with two 3/8" nuts.
Fixings:
The heater is secured to the Balboa control box by two studs and 3/8" nuts, one on the top and one underneath the heater tube.
Compatibility:
Compatible with all plastic GS & GL Series spa control boxes, including models like GS500Z, GS501Z, GS501SZ, GS510SZ, GS520DZ, GS523DZ, and GL2000 systems.

Commonly found in many American and European spa brands, this heater assembly is also used in various Chinese-manufactured hot tubs, including models from Canadian Spas, Wellis, Passion Spas, Cove Spas, and more.
Additional Information: When installing, ensure the power copper straps from the PCB are securely connected to the heater terminals by holding the base of the terminal with a small 1/4" spanner or long nose pliers before tightening the 3/8" nuts on top. This is an authentic Balboa product, so avoid inferior copies found online.
