We’re excited to share some fantastic news with our amazing community! Over the past year, thanks to your support, we’ve raised an incredible £4,968 for Fibromyalgia Action UK. How? For every hot tub and swim spa sold through The Wellness Co, we donated £5 to this wonderful cause. Your purchases made a real difference, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
What Does Fibromyalgia Action UK Do?
Fibromyalgia Action UK is dedicated to increasing awareness about fibromyalgia across the UK and beyond. They work tirelessly to improve knowledge about this condition and enhance access to effective treatments. Their mission is crucial for those living with fibromyalgia, a condition that brings widespread pain, fatigue, sleep problems, and emotional distress.
What is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is a condition characterized by widespread pain throughout the body. People with fibromyalgia may also experience:
- Sleep Problems: Difficulty sleeping or staying asleep.
- Fatigue: Feeling constantly tired, even after rest.
- Emotional Distress: Increased sensitivity to pain and emotional struggles.
The exact cause of fibromyalgia is still unknown, but it can be managed with effective treatments. Soaking in warm water and regular exercise are among the many ways to alleviate symptoms. And guess what? Relaxing in a hot tub is a well-known remedy for easing muscle stiffness and stress—two key factors that can intensify fibromyalgia symptoms!
