The TDA50 LX Circulation pump, equipped with a 0.5hp single-speed motor, is specifically designed for Hot Tubs and Spas. This Chinese-manufactured pump is easily recognisable by its distinctive yellow motor casing. Only one version of the TDA50 has ever been produced, and our current stock features the latest upgraded ceramic shaft seals in the wet end.
This is a single-speed pump, designed to operate at high speed for JETS or Boost mode when using your spa or hot tub. The wet end connects to 1.5-inch plumbing unions on both the inlet and outlet, with an external thread diameter of 63mm. To ensure a proper seal, 1.5-inch union O-rings are recommended.
The pump’s wet end can be easily rotated from the standard 12 o’clock position to either 3 o’clock or 9 o’clock by simply removing the four bolts securing it to the motor.
